What You Need To Know About Leather When Purchasing A 3 Seater Sofa

3 Seater Sofa
A leather chair in the waiting room or lounge can add sophistication and class. These pieces of furniture can be expensive and you have to be careful not to be swindled. Whether you are trying to choose a le Corbusier LC3 or any other types of leather chairs there are certain things you need to know.

The most expensive of these is going to be the made of precious types of leather such as the aniline. The aniline is dyed but is not coated. The lack of coating gives it a unique soft feel and the grain of the leather is visible. A 3 seater sofa made of aniline leather is the most expensive in the market.

The problem with aniline is it tends to absorb spills and cause serious stains so it needs to be well maintained. Semi-aniline leather has a thin coating applied to it. The disadvantage with this thin coating is that the quality of the 3 seater sofa is somewhat compromised because the grain is not very visible and the patina is affected. The advantage is that the light coating prevents stains from being absorbed into the seat and makes it easy to clean.

A chair like the le Corbusier LC3 has more than just quality leather. It is made of a unique stainless steel frame that adds some touch of formality to it, making it suitable as a lounge seat. The seat is durable and made from a continuous hide of leather making its color, patina and grain continuous.
