Bringing Home Greatest Replica Designs

Le Corbusier is among the greatest names in modern architecture. The Switzerland-born architect has to his credit works in many places around the globe. Such was his stature that his demise mourned by people from all walks of life including leaders of powerful nations. LC chairs were his most popular designs. The chairs are still used today and the originals are very expensive. Replicas of the LC2 Le Corbusier are available that match the original in design and quality. The designs also called Petit Sofas as they are meant for relaxed seating. They are available in varying sizes to seat one; two or three people. Corbusier had designed the chairs in collaboration with another architect Charlotte Perriand.

Acclaimed architect Eero Saarinen has many furniture designs to his credit. His designs that went into production more than half-century ago are still in vogue. The Swan and Tulip chairs are among his noted creations. The Tulip Chair was inspired by Saarinen’s distaste for chairs of his time which according to him were ugly as they had too many legs. He took it up as a challenge to come out with a chair that would support body weight without requiring much support. The Tulip design that is seen in discos, offices, and even modern homes is gracefully delicate but ergonomically strong. Another Saarinen chair, the Swan, was inspired by Saarinen’s idea to create an enclosure type seating which offered unparalleled comfort.
