Panton And Eames Chairs In Your Homes

Panton Chair

Verner Panton, the Danish designer, is credited with Creating molded plastic chairs for the first time ever.  His S-shaped Panton Chair is his masterpiece and was included In the Danish Culture Canon in 2006 as an example of the cultural heritage of Denmark.  Inspired by the sight of neatly stacked Plastic buckets, he dreamed of creating a plastic chair that was one continuous piece that could be stacked neatly and stored when not needed.  There have been a number of changes to the original model with the objective being to make the plastic chair an affordable Piece of furniture. The Eames plastic side chair DSW is a Modern version of the fiberglass chair.  It is popularly used in offices as well as homes.  In homes, it is especially popular in the garden and by the poolside Where weatherproof chairs are required.

The Eames DSW replica is also made of fiberglass and is a high quality reproduction of the original product.  Charles and Ray Eames were American designers who contributed greatly to the design and creation of modern affordable furniture and architecture. The popularity of the Eames designs lies in the fact that it is simple and comfortable.

There have been a number of subtle changes the Eames design with chair legs being made of maple or walnut or powder coated metal base in different colors but the basic design has remained the same.  The Eames chair DSW is very popular in cafes and restaurants as it can be adapted to fit in with the design of the place.
